Power Certificates of Deposit
- $500 minimum balance to open and to earn APY
- Increase your rate one time during the term, at your option
- Add to the certificate of deposit one time during the term, at your option. The additional deposit must be equal to but no greater than the initial deposit
- Terms available between eighteen (18) and sixty (60) months
- Interest rate is compounded daily and credited semi-annually
- Terms for optional crediting of interest
- $2,500 minimum - interest may be credited to a transaction or savings account, monthly, quarterly or semiannually
- $5,000 minimum - interest may be paid by check, monthly, quarterly or semiannually
- Certificates can be held in the Bank's Safekeeping at no charge
Regular Certificates of Deposit
- Fixed interest rates are available on balances as low as $500.
- Certificate terms available from 30 days through 60 months.
- Interest calculation methods:
- Maturities of less than one year - simple interest
- Maturities of twelve to seventeen months - compounded daily and credited semi-annually
- Terms for optional crediting of interest:
- $2,500 minimum - interest may be credited to a transaction or savings account, monthly, quarterly, or semiannually
- $5,000 minimum - interest may be paid by check, monthly, quarterly, or semiannually
- Certificates can be held in the Bank's Safekeeping at no charge
